The U.S. Army awarded a contract to Nortex Modular Space for the construction of a fire dept living quarters totaling 2,400 square feet. The building features stucco siding, single ply roof, guttering and downspouts, treated wood decks, steps and handicap ramp, fire alarm system, fire sprinkler system, fire-rated walls and doors, steel exterior doors, restrooms with shower facilities, food storage, kitchen, laundry room, TV room, dining room, private office and dormitory for sleeping. The project was completed in 75 days in the winter of 1999.
